Friends, I present to you my first submission for the year 2016. I'd worked on this since 31 December, and it's done. The title simple translates to 'A New Chance', and the music for this came in what I felt was a dry period. This is my fighting music, this is the music that urges me to go on.
I wanted to get this out in time for the (adjourned) appeal date of the 7th, for ultimately, "a new chance" is what I'm after -- those of you who know my story will get my drift.
It is fakebit, but I impose my own restrictions now where previously, I'd been put to shame for various innocuous things I'd always dreamt of doing. It'd always been said that I couldn't do drums, I couldn't ride a skateboard, I couldn't do this, I couldn't do that, and right now, I'm probably going to damn to the nine circles of hell the rules that say that using more than the standard four 8-bit tracks on a digital audio workstation cannot be done. This is my rebellion. The music remains still just that, music.

All of this work came JUST from a NES soundfont?? Wow, man incredible work, I can't believe it.
I love the uplifting vibes and optimistic feeling this tune offers, especially the arps that sound behind the main saw. It is a simplistic tune, yes, but it makes me remember all the memories from 8-bit/16-bit gaming from my childhood. Amazing work, keep it up! :D
