wtf this is just damn awesome, i can't think of anything else to say its that good
Enough of reallies
Lol I just noticed that in my previous review I used "really" in every sentence. I gotta stop that lol. Now on to the review. I like those first arps, they create a feeling of danger. After that part somwhere the drums get a little misplaced, but it's nothing serious. The ending is a bit boring, you could have put in the melody of the arps with some different instrument. Overall it's an A-.
Review over, no reallies? No reallies. NOW I click submit^^.
Fuck.
I´m in some deep boredom of hell now. I´m sick as hell, my shoes are in a car so I can´t get to school if I want or not. Fuck.
And since you told me only to review this, then it will be a long long long long review.
Before I started I just set on your song and went to the Audio Forum a bit. I can say; it wasn´t annoying at all, it was just summing in the background in infinity and I didn´t even notice it for a while. This may be good, or bad.
Good because it´s most likely a catchy and enjoyable song you can listen to for a while without getting annoyed.
Bad because it seems like it´s just an anonymous and normal song. Either way, and I am not pretty sure which way, but I THINK it is the good way, it is OK.
Oh, and I see you have it in a Flash submission. Gongrats! I can clearly see this in any game with whatever point, most likely a war game.
I don´t know why you so badly want this song more attention... I´ve truly seen better songs from you. It was a good tune, but it didn´t really have that much character and flavour.
Also, know your genres. This was not Techno, it was Industrial. Techno is mainly computer-made music with synths you can´t get from real life instruments. Industrial is music on the principe machines, sounding like machines working. (Like my Dig which I put in the wrong genre)
Final Battle, eh? Yeah. It´s like a boss battle, actually, could really fit a big fat final boss theme. Has to be a game mostly concentraded on violence, though, as it´s not like I could see this in a, say, Mario game, for example.
OK I just saw the flash you had it in. Of course it was a madness tribute. People need more originality than that. Most people don´t really watch them, but it´s a huge boost getting it in a flash either way.
OK, nice melody, nice beats, but they seem to be a bit off the actual track and melody. You could put the bass a tiny bit bass becasue it seems like it´s going at the right tempo, but not at the right place.
Originaliy gets a... say, eight? -----i´ve heard far more dramatical, and far more machinical songs, but this one had stuff that others don´t have, so you get a high one for that.
Clarity... here I´ll give you a nine. Not entirely clear as water, however it had a very good clarity.
Diversity gets a seven. This one wasn´t long, but not especially short either. There was much diversity in melody and beats, but not in the style, though.
Effort, there I´ll spend another nine. You seem to have done much good work with the mastering and making of the tracks, effects and such, good work.
Overall should be an eight. You´ve made a good track here and it definatively deserves a flash submission usage.
</far longest review I´ve made>
yay for long reviews
Great feel to it, but
Around the part where everything drops and just the "wap wap wap wap wap wap wap" sound comes in, I feel like something keeps getting off time... it's really nagging at me. I really liked the way you built the track, I like the old school sounding synths. The percussion is thumpin' and keeps this track moving along with a mission. I really like the wap wap wap wap wap sounds! Very cool sound design there. Good track, just need to fix that thing that sounds like it's off, that was a problem to me.
off dude i have no idea what your on about.... unless you mean the distortion recorded from my amp man i love that sound ...
