This deserved a high score.

I loved this track to death. It's just so amazing for words.
Its simple melody was great.

I'm downloading your other songs.

Please never stop making them.

Filter to taste

Nice reverb n' filter on the melod and delay on the clap, but a little bit too repetitive (like neuroticfish).

I'd put it under dance not trance!

Regardless of that, this is really nice and atmospherical. Nice choice of synths and bass. This just made me want to dance. Really nice light and airy. Rather unusual for trance isn't it?
I have 1 question, what made you think of the tracks name?
Amazing track
C3 5/5

AdmiralConquistador responds:

Hey, I guess you're right, it probably should have gone into Dance, and not Trance. Anyway, I made some fixes and changes to it, and uploaded the new version, put it under the Dancer category... you should check it out!

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it made you wanna dance... that means mission accomplished, heh! To be honest, I don't know what made me think of the name Stratodancer... more like I don't remember, really. Thanks for the review!

liek whoa

The whole song has a really smooth sound to it. Clarity is fawking amazing. It's rare to find a song that you can blast through your speakers and find no fuzziness. As for the melody, it didn't change too much, but you added enough other aspects to keep me interested all the way through.

I love the beat the most. It had me tapping along as I listen. It's like a quiet frenzy; muted, but still quick.

The ending wrapped up the song nicely and gave it a complete feeling.

An overall 5/5 from me. I find that most of your songs have better quality and more originality than the ones I've listened to ranked at the top. I'd have to say that you're probably my favorite artist in the whole audio portal. I really hope you get the recognition you deserve.

AdmiralConquistador responds:

What a flattering review!

Lately, I feel like I haven't been writing as-good songs as I used to, focusing more on production and mastering and stuff. I think that this song is kind of a return, at least in my mind, to my older songwriting style. So in that aspect, I'm probably the happiest I've ever been with a song of mine. However, LaymanLove has been pointing several things out to me, which I 100% agree with, and I'm going back and reworking this track and will re-release it on Newgrounds. Chances are it might even have vocals, maybe even from me! Thanks so much for your kind words, and I can't complain about the amount of times people have said I'm their favorite artist in the whole audio potal. I hope my head isn't getting too big!

Who..uhhh...ummmmm, but who... woanedit?

Yay! I love how it came out. Was this bassline in there before? I can't remember, but I love it

What if you run that pad through a vocoder...then again maybe not. Worth a ponder?

Remember in "high on life" how every time EVERY TIME that part hit, we were like 'DDDAMN..why not me?' Well that happens only once in this song - when the melody is initially introduced. And the problem therein is, I see an opportunities for this to happen at least 5 or 6 more times.

For example, I'd love to hear your arpeggio make more of an entrance. Like Ross at a party....Let it have some alone time without the lead as it deserves just as much listener-ear sex as that lead.

Ok, now I come to the lead and holy steamy poop did it come out good. It works the bassline like a French whore. And no one else can write a harmony that dances around the lead like the Admiral can. The benign sine was the perfect sonic choice.

And finally, F that thing we were working on before. I why don't we put some lyrics on this one...damnit it I want that mic this week! Think about it and let me know.

5 fo sho!
