IDM is more mellow and slower this is kindam ore like Aphex twins got stuck in an atari lol.But fuck genres right?! Good job thurr

Bass

Bass really stands out here. Sounds like something off the Atari, but that's what I like about it. I like the little buzzes, they pop out of nowhere and change the song around. It's nice, hopefully it turns out pretty good.

The synth sucked lol they sounded like they were comeing out of my ass. The melody was fine. The bass needs to be louder you fool>:(

The drums kiked ass with the drums and different effects. S'all good.

Get a vst or somethin, jeebus christ

The synth was just the bass up two octaves with a different melody. I had to cheat the version of Live I have in order to have both bass and a lead. Glad you liked the drums though.

Good DnB not really IDM

Wowza this isn't all too close to IDM, it's definitely Drum n Bass, IDM has constant rhythm changes in it, thus making it less predictable. This follows a traditional rhythm structure, and is more predictable. It features glitched snare, you'll need to start getting down and dirty messing around with samples, distorting them to high heaven, twist them and misconstrue them to obblivion.

Keep at it man, look around some of the IDM sites for more pointers, you'll find it very useful, and get some sample editing tools too they'll come in very handy for what you're aiming for.

Well, I'm not too sure what this was, and the first thing that popped to mind was IDM. My second thought was Drill N' Bass, which would probably be a more fitable genre for this.
