Guitarstep here !
Thank you for your consideration, I'm not able to do "wubs" or things like that due to my software ! =)
This is probably, from my point of view, my best work and I had a lot of fun making this. ^^
Does ethnicity define who we are ? Obviously not. So why keeping hating someone because of something he didn't choose ?
Hope you'll like it ! =3
Oh and by the way, sorry for the little silence at the beginning and for the sound cracking a bit at the mid of the track : conversion problems... X3

What a fun track! This reminds me of my brother's work (which is a big compliment in my book!) I like the message behind it, glad you explained more in the comments as I was bracing for something rougher. Also not sure why you've been given 3 stars overall, even if it isn't dubstep. 4.5 to you, Mister :)

MysteriousPresence responds:

Wow, thank you very much, didn't expect a review on this one ! ^^
Well I'm being zerobombed since my track "Oh My God What's Going On With My Mind ?", and even if this track's low score may be justified in my opinion, I still don't understand Genocide's, Atomic's and 711998's scores. I must be followed by someone who doesn't like me and who constantly votes "0" to all my tracks with his 6 accounts... it's a bit discouraging to be honest ! Take a look if you want, but I honestly think my latest tracks are not that bad ! =3
Thanks again ! <3

I believe that this is technically a synth rock, it really doesn't have that dubstep vibe (solid sub bass and half beat feel)

Musically it is good, something is constantly happening, so it doesn't get boring at any point

mixing is OK as well, but the instruments could be "wider", you know ,some layering, compression, reverb, don't know what are the possibities of garage band though

2:03 - there was some note off the scale, watch out for that
0:38- I dont like this snare much, the other is cool

Otherwise it's quite a decent tune, I would imagine it as a soundtrack of some mobile game maybe

btw why genocide? Under such a title, I imagine something darker, sinister.. this sounds quite encouraging actually

and good luck with future production :)

MysteriousPresence responds:

Hey thank you very much for the review friend ! =3
Well in fact I wanted the instruments to be pretty "abrupt", that's why it's called "Genocide" by the way : everything stops brutally. ^^
Thank you for your advices, I'll work on that ! :3
Thanks again for the review ! :D

This is dubstep? It sounds more like a guitar. I know your description says you don't have dubstep synths, but a guitar? Anyways, moving on to the melody. It's great! Keep it up! Next, some sounds are drowned out, particularly at 02:40, there is also massive distortion at that part. The drums are nice, pretty good dubstep drums. All in all the drop was just a massive guitar riff (are you doing guitarstep?) but everything else was nice. Try to remove the distortion and do subtractive eq on 02:40(does garageband even have an equalizer? remind me if it doesn't.)

MysteriousPresence responds:

Hey thanks for the review ! ^^
Yes Guitarstep, that was the genre I was aiming for ! Thanks for reminding me the name ! X)
Yeah 2:40 was a bit too much ! I gotta work on this. :3
GarageBand has an equalizer, but it doesn't work that much. :/
Thanks again ! =D

This is amazing! =3

MysteriousPresence responds:

Roooh stop it you ! <3
