Reminds me A LOT of K-391's older tracks
Ok so I can hardly tell a decently-mixed electronic song from an amazingly-mixed one (I'm a cinematic/orchestral composer) so I can't help with that, but the song itself is very well done. I liked the atmosphere you made, and sound design wasn't bad. Some interesting chord choices, it's so nice to see some music theory at work in an electronic song these days. Good job, keep up the good work!
Oh! I just realised you're the same guy who produced Miles Away with Kasger and Limitless, i love that song! this one is awesome too :D
Composition is very solid. I love it; especially the strings.
The mix could definitely use some work. I think the frequencies may be clashing a little. The kick needs to punch more in the parts like 1:16. The punch is actually not bad at roughly 2 minutes in. So either the side chain of the chords needs to be improved or the level of the kick is low (or both).
I wouldn't recommend using a kick in a house build up unless you decide to automate it's lowpass. While you're at it, low pass automate the chords/leads too. This track would build up much stronger that way. I would rather hear some sweet percs, hats and a solid build up snare with pitch automation for that build.
Either way, this is a lovely track that just needs some mixing improvements. Otherwise, keep up the awesome work.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
