Toronto is cyberpunk af eh? Theme setting is in near future Toronto where the working class cybernetic cyborgs rise against against the ruling androids. Or are we already there? An an unofficial 7th anniversary since G20 Toronto unrest.

The production of this track was weird. Made it while high on weed. Was trying to make mainstream DnB, then I went nuts on the sound design, and here we are! Was inspired by Savant and Waterflame. But there is another Norwegian musician that I was inspired for the beat work. Guess who? Lioz, aka Thomas Bergersen. Was listening to Virtual Brainscape while being high. It was scary. Then I was like holyfuck I need to try this beat. It was rad as fuck.

The glitches in the background actually came from an Audacity experiment. I googled on how to plug picture file into Audacity, and did it. Spent 30 minutes plugging random pictures to the program. Hated the white noises. RIP my eardrums...

ENJOY!

even though I miss the world outside North America having an intimate presence online , this song feels so nuanced ~ I feel sacred or libidinal energy engaging with /cyb/ friends while listening .

love the glitches and stuff. Great jobbbb

zybor responds:

Thanks man.

You write too much; I can't keep up listening to all of these. I just love how your brain is able to come up with these on the fly-- true artistic expression. Your sound design with you rhythmic character has always been quite a joy to listen to. These reviews really haven't been much of a review as it is a statement to how much I admire them. This track in particular takes me back to my Unreal Tournament days. Respect!

zybor responds:

UT games are the best! good old days on LAN with friends and schoolmates. sadly nowadays i only play with bots. :P

thank you so much for your awesome review!

This was one of the most upbeat, energetic songs I've heard in a long time. I enjoyed everything; there's nothing in particular I want to critique. And your synth skills are way ahead of mine so there's not much I could say anyway :)

Weed seems to be the secret tool for making one's music sound great :D

thank you for your review.

leukemia gives you tons of pain and fatigue during later stages. it's painful and hurt everywhere. feel like an old man. when every medication failed me, i turned to drug. weed to ease my pain, especially i smoke and vape regularly that when i become so numb, i felt no pain. i do acid, DMT, 2cb or even Zoloft because they give me good mood. it also helps me cope with the cutthroat day job that keep myself alive. imagine someone's dying gotta work double shift because he'll die quicker on the street without working. ain't life beautiful!

making music is to give myself a reason to stay alive. i would probably off myself ages ago, if not for music and NG. Leukemia gives you the worst painful death ever. i have been thinking lately, to OD myself on LSD and let it be. let it be...

This was a pretty stellar ride. Loved all the glitchy synths and sound effects, making it for a very upbeat and fast paced track. Definitely reminded me of the soundtracks from the game "KKND Krossfire" I used to love to play that RTS and it had trippy music too.

zybor responds:

i honestly didn't know what was the exact BPM for DnB, so i put it 175 and see how it goes. also was really high so i couldn't determine what from what.

thank you for your review!!!
