Quite impressive
Very dark, very interesting how the melody works out. There's a lot of repetition in the pieces foundation, but you sprinkle plenty of counter melodies on it to give it a fresh and entertaining core to listen to.
You are using some very good samples, if I may ask, what VST's and program do you use?
Back to the song.
The constant timpini is what I feel gave it the marching feel, in the pitch black of night, surrounded by darkness, hearing only the rustling of your fellow soldiers as they march on.
I get several darker overtones in this, and again the repetition assists this cause.
I felt the violin shouldn't have cut out like it did, it helps the piece a lot and I felt it could have held a more prominent role in the piece.
The ending as Rucklo brought up was too abrupt. The ending where you brought out those cello chords, I mean literally like 5 seconds before the ends was really saddening to me. I felt the song could have really done something special at that point, could have really jumped up and screamed it's fury in a sense.
Still, great work, a very well made piece. I hope you stick around to show us more, if you do please send me a message, keep me up to date.
5/5 from me JSaiz, welcome to the portal. I'd like to invite you to check out my work sometime! Keep up the good fight!
