I am a huge fan of calm and soothing jazz. Yet somehow this marvelous piece is oddly satisfying. Great work! Not the best...but on the podium.

Beneath the cold steel clouds, the patterns soaked the asphalt. Stretched out to infinity beneath the cold crushing weight of the years. It drips continuously over the souls of those who've passed before.
She stares out, briefly. Crossing glances. The drops fall smoothly off the umbrella and into the vast midst of the many. One after another they are for a moment unique then assimilate into the same ubiquitous mass. I curiously gaze at her knowing this instant will be burned into my subconscious, and I will never forget her soft glance of affection that pierces through my vaporous being.
