I couldn't make commercial if I tried.. LOL

So enjoy this crazy glitched up bit of tranceish stuff!

Wow!

I really enjoyed this song, I like the upbeat sound in it along with the beat, which is unusual because it is heavier than I usually enjoy. My hat goes off to you!

EchozAurora responds:

Thanks for the review!

My style (in pop) has evolved quite a bit since making this, and I'm working on a new song from scratch (well, it is almost done.. I just need to do vocals) that will blow this.. and actually.. pretty much all my current music away.

lollage!

Well, good remix. What to bug about!? >: (

Ah yes, the volume. It's a tad loud overall in my opinion, you may look into the volumes again of each track to get a smoother layering. automating the volume pushers may be an idea. :)

Thats basicly all I can say. Even the fact that I haven't heard the original this was nicely covered/remixed.

shizzl!

Attempted Commercialability (New Word)

I can clearly see what your trying to do with this, bring an energetic feel as well as a few other things.

It wasn't all that bad, but the synth's weren't right for the track and the lead wasn't great either. Although i did enjoy the B0unC3y feel it had, it wasn't the best remix version of this, maybe add more to the beat, or even a different beat, more clubby, try VEC samples. :)

Cheers, be sure to check out my audio, because i remixed this also.

EchozAurora responds:

Yeah, I'm trying to expand my genres. Definitely in an experimental stage, so I am trying different things to see what works, but thanks for the tips, because I need all the help I can get at the moment finding my sound. I don't want to be a copy of other musicians, and I'm not sure exactly, but I'm almost trying to start a new genre. So at the moment, I guess I'll just keep fusing new elements together until I find something that works. I'd like to know what VSTs or soundfonts you use though, because the ones I'm currently working with aren't very suitable for the genre.
PM me sometime, I'd like to hear what you know.

Omfg Cymbal??

Holy crap this is pretty cool man, it's like J pop sounding to the max! The voice is kind of annoying, but it's pretty cool. It sounds Christmasy but it still has the techno feel to it, it's sweet. It definately gets your foot tapping. I should listen to this song every weekend now, it gets you hyped up for Friday. Nice song here man.

4.5/5

EchozAurora responds:

Thanks man!
I'm going to try to make more songs along the lines of this, and I am still working on this song, remastering and such.
Expect to see the finished version on myspace soon.

hmrrm

Well, it was interesting. I personally didn't like the vocals. They were a bit annoying to me. I've never heard the original. But I'll assume it kicked ass.

Well it wasn't exactly original, or anything really new. But there was some nice glitch work on the synth at one point. The melody was good.

The synth sounded a bit detuned to the vocals. The bass was fine. The drums need a lot of work though. The bass kick is too loud. The lap is too quiet. Some more hi-hats would be nice too.

Some mastering to the drums and vocals would be good. They would blend much better and sound alot smoother.

Keep working at it man and you'll get it

btw I'll 5 you because of the 0 voter -)

EchozAurora responds:

thank ya much
I'm not really done with it yet, but I figured I would submit it to see what kind of feedback I could get on it.
It was my first attempt trying to remix a song using just vocals, so I'm glad that it isn't entirely terrible at least.
I think it is still missing something, I'll probably resubmit it whenever I figure out what it is... and as for mastering, I need to get a new set of headphones or something, because it seems like only luck whenever I master something right.
