Sounds so chill. Like something out of a H3H3 video :D"!
Okaaaay, so here's my submission for the final round of NGUAC. I know its pretty different than what I usually make, honestly this is a really weird song. I kinda made it all within the last two days because I didn't want to be one of the people who audition but don't submit... I really hope that I have a chance! Good luck to miyolophone and cursedsnake :D
PS - This won't be uploaded anywhere but newgrounds for the time being, since it is pretty late here and nobody will see a notification for youtube or soundcloud if I upload it at 11:00...
Also a big thanks to the judges for taking their time to write great reviews and to decide the winners of each round! Another successful year of NGUAC! :D
DAW: Logic Pro X
VST's: Serum, ES2 (Logic) ESX24 Sampler (Logic)
Instruments: All were either made by me in Serum, Logic's ES2, or they were a software instrument in Logic like Rhodes or Saxophone.

wait, you use Logic Pro too???????
well that's nice, seeing someone so good at music that uses the same DAW as I do 8)
this is very chill, and I like it! the drop is great!
5/5 overall
Thanks!
I wish the Melody stayed consistent sometimes but other than that, it's a cool song.
Great bro! (but your best track is echolands)
I like the tranquil mood at the beginning. The blend of orchestral and synthetic elements was enjoyable. Has a bit of a jazzy vibe, which I also appreciated. The groovy melodic line at :21 is great, and the mix is rather clean. That said, the drop at 1:04 seemed a bit underwhelming by comparison, and didn’t add much to the piece musically. I also would’ve liked to hear more of the arpeggios in the background there - toning down the reverb might help with that. The breakdown at 2:30 with the cool panning and drums is also enjoyable. The melodies at 3:14 really tie this piece together - that last bit of catharsis really gives it a great sense of resolve, and I like the outro with the orchestral flair. A couple of the transitions in the piece could use a bit of work - you have a habit of connecting everything with risers and sweeps, so I would’ve liked to see some more creative transitions at 3:35, 1:48, and 2:29. Overall, though, the composition is really strong here. It’s really only a few little things that bother me here. Keep up the good work, Dj-zyzyx! ;)
