Hmmm..... I don't really know man. This song feels really relaxing, but neither in a sad way, nor in a happy way. I think the crack should've been a bit louder in the song, because the other sounds seem to just make it as if it's not present in the song. In fact, make the whole thing a bit louder. Like master it or something if you know what that is. Also I would suggest you to EQ that riser at :39, as that kind of ruins the whole lo-fi vibe itself. Then, I would also suggest you to make the end a bit shorter, as I think it's pretty unnecessary to just extend the whole end with just the crack and that's that. Maybe you could also try to add some more details to this song, like sound effects, or even instruments to accompany the piano, but if you also want to just go with the whole minimalistic style, then I don't really mind. Overall, this is not at all too bad, but not too good either.

P.S. Hope your homie get good soon, bro.

ItzBrok3n responds:

thanks for the input, i'll definitely put it all into consideration next time i wanna do lo-fi

and my attempt for "mastering" was literally just 4 fruity compressors in parallel in a Patcher, I was trying to imitate a mastering method I heard about somewhere online. did it work? guess not.

p.s. i think he's good now
