This is perfection.
I can definitely hear the difference. But I prefer the old version. You tried to introduce more details and variety, but doing this on an existing song (that was already amazing btw) without completely remaking it, doesn't really work that well. Sometimes it's better to keep it simple.
Also you kinda exaggerated the sidechaining here.
But damn the end hits so freaking hard. That quiet and bitcrushed little retrospection of the original song makes me wanna cry for some reason
