Getting some early Lapalux vibes. All this needs is tighter mixing and it'd be mint. These peeps don't get anything that ain't in 4/4 lol.

There are some ideas here that aren't bad on paper but are just poorly executed. I can hear what you're trying to achieve but you just haven't grasped it yet.
The fuzz is completely overbearing. The drums are the worst offender here. The drums are completely off tempo and kill the mood for the entire song. It's very hard to distinguish what is going on in the song.
I have to respect you for the effort. Keep at it.

Big track to take on, probably the most iconic thing in the AP for us old fart members
First half is pretty rough imo, that kicker is a bit too syncopated at the start to really get you into the beat properly, and the percussion in the first half just feels a little off time, and ends up pulling you out of the experience a bit. You recover this later on, hell, the last minute or so is a pretty solid beat.
The score itself is a pretty interesting way to attack the original loop though, I would've never thought to take the footwork route on it, definitely a unique approach.
Ok, so the idea of reconstructing this into something longer and different was pretty genius like in an Aphex Twin style. That kick though, is absolutely dreadful and completely destroys any reprieve this track has. Not only is it off beat, but it is utterly distracting from everything else that's trying to happen.
The distortion is a nifty little effect that makes this track somewhat interesting. This is honestly, just not my cup of tea because it sounds like my nine year old tried mixing his first song with no regard to meter or tempo.
The idea was good... the execution not so much.
Overall 2/5
