This is an idea for a voice demo I've had for a while now. More of a failed experiment than anything else. I wanted to show of some voices while singing and it just turned into my singing voice pretending I can do Freddy Mercury justice with Queen's "Somebody to Love" followed by my speaking voice and higher register in The Eagles' "Seven Bridges Road" and finishing with Johnny Cash's version of Nine Inch Nails' version of "Hurt" in the deepest voice I can muster. That being said, I'm not claiming any credit for these songs. Just the vocals I edited into some karaoke tracks.
I'm not happy with it. There are plenty of flaws. The lines are too long. It's not my best singing. I could go on but would appreciate constructive criticism from listeners. Go on, find something I really overlooked and impress me by criticizing me in ways I didn't notice. On the other hand, give me a song and/or voice idea to try for future attempts. I like singing and would like to do more of these.
Also, despite its flaws, this is something I'd never send for actual voice work. There would be a lot more practice and perfection involved. Mostly, I just wanted to see if I could even getting the mixing anywhere near decent. Like I said, an experiment...a failed one, but I still got to learn from it.
You may not use this work for any purposes.
