Good but...
It's a great little loop, and I'm not voting it down for its size :P But as you mentioned yourself the prouction was a bit subpar..the melody itself needs to be a bit louder. Otherwise you've got a pretty nice little bit of music that you should consider on expanding into a full song :)

Sorry it took me so long to respond, the redesign was frustrating at first (trying figuring out the response). Thank you very much, we appear to be on the same page as I'm in the process of writing a song using this as either a chorus or intro.
