I’ve been switching to Linux recently, and my current setup for making music is on a rather old laptop (which has only 4 gigs of RAM :/). I do have some other stuff in the works, but it’s gonna be slow for now. Hopefully, once/if I can get my music setup on Linux working, I’ll be able to make music a bit faster. :P
Also, if ANYONE has ANY help for getting VST’s to run in Ableton on Linux, preferably using Wine, PLEASE let me know! Or heck, if anyone has any tips for properly installing Wine on a Debian fork, let me know. If you don’t know what Wine or Debian is, then save your sanity, it’s pretty complicated…
