this is pretty awesome. Is that a vocoder with alot of low equing behind the other voice? how many effects do you think you put on your voice, i like it, makes it sound more original.
I like it more than instrumental, through the 2:10 part for a bit is boring, cause the lack of insruments, ubt i guess i have just never liked ambient, the rest of the song is great, i like the random extra little voice things.

No vocoders were used. I had used a lot of filters on my last "rapping" song Hazard, so I left this one pretty filter-free. The back-up voices were just my singing part with a lowered pitch. Nothing fancy really. I'm still trying to perfect this type of song, and yes I am currently working with vocoders for future songs (you're a mind-reader!)

Downloaded both versions (voice and not) and i think this one is a bit better but some times just hearing music and not the meaning of the words puts the song in a different light. Lol, maybe i didn't phrase that right but its like hearing a song in a different language and not understanding the words but liking the sound of them, same as in this song i like the sound of the words it adds something to the song but i don't like the meaning
In other words i like it but sometimes like in the middle of the song when you start rapping some of the the words just aren't in the right tone ex "and take all the shit!" Anyway nice work, like the song and your work

Yeah, I'm still not sure where I stand with this song. I like the idea of the lyrics and I think I structured them well, but... I don't think I'm a very good vocalist. Maybe I'll have somebody else do them in the future. I think I'm done with rapping for a while :) Thanks for the review!

so he can play it in his raves he probably mention the artist and name of song so u get more publicity

Hey! Someone finally reviewed this! It's a miracle!
I've sort've grown soured of this tune, because I was so so SO excited about it. I even bought a new microphone just to record the vocals for it. I redid the vocals a billion times and released it.... and NO ONE freakin listened to it. Now I'm blaming myself because I think the vocals still might be too weak. If you are passing this on to your DJ friend (and that's really awesome, by the way) I'd prefer if you'd pass on the instrumental version, which I can pass on to you sometime. Just catch me on AIM sometime. I'm online... sometimes. I'm a busy guy. Thanks for the review!
