So, I tried riddim again...not sure how well I made it, but I made something, and it's here now. That being said, there is other things I tried in here. I tried a more narrative intro section, cutting out the middle "verse" section (still not sure how I feel about it), and returning to a synth that creates some pretty heavy issues with my current CPU.

Those drops blew me away, they're so heavy and powerful! Usually riddim tracks are repetitive, but the constant changes in the rythm and the bass growls make this engaging. My only criticism is that the vocals don't blend well with the synths, especially at the intro. Overall, great work :)
