This was the second of a few pieces I wrote on 9 April, the 9th day of the Spring run of 21 Days of VGM this year; the prompt was the same as the title, "Space Cowboy." I finally got round to uploading it today.
I had quite a bit of angst on that day, as a certain other piece written on that day suggests (see below). I'd also played enough Shadow Hearts II to imagine an angsty space cowboy's musical theme, enough to see where this was going.

Now that is moody.
Piano could be a bit softer, I think it's too heavy in contrast to your support. Keep the bass notes heavy, soften the high notes.
