F.A.Q.: Why does your cover of America & Canada's anthem sound so bad/depressing?
Because at the time of making the cover, America wasn't doing well. That, and I wanted to go for a sombre, depressing take on the national anthem of both America and my country's anthem.
No, I am not picking favorites between the two; that presumption goes strongly against my intent. The music's harmonic and cinematic choices show that Canada's anthem doesn't get away unscathed.
