This is definitely a head banger.
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
Warning: this track contains large amounts uptempo hardcore. Kick drums in this genre may sound wildly different from kick drums in other genres, due to the amount of distortion needed. We recommend that you keep an open mind when listening to this track.
The first uptempo track I made in its entirety. I first conceptualized the drop a couple months back but only started working on it about a month ago, thinking that it was simple enough to complete in a week.
Well, here we are. Despite uptempo being considered a “low-quality” cousin to mainstream hardcore, it is no less harder to create!
This track was supposed to be part of the debut compilation by the Fiery Rabbit Collective (https://fieryrabbitcollective.bandcamp.com/), but the compilation was ultimately cancelled. Its theme was taken straight out of the group name, looking for something fiery hot and clearly hardcore. In response, I took some spicy kicks, the longest “Ohh Yeahh” made by one of my friends, and worked to create the hypest track I could.
Today also marks just over 1 year since I made the 7 kicks that were put into this track. Six of them are derivatives of 1 kick, which is also in this track but not during the drop. All of these kicks are a single sound, which means I did not layer any parts of the kick.
This kicks come from a stash of dozens of other kicks/kick rejects that came from that single kickmaking session that I hope to use someday, but perhaps next time!

This is definitely a head banger.
Kicks lack sub but this is pretty good man. Try making your kicks with a 909 sample vs a kick making synth.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
