The instruments sound really good and the piece is very intense and overall triumphant. It would be perfect at the end of a bossfight while dealing the coupe de grace! I also love the distortions at the end of the guitar's phrases
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
Got new drums (8Dio Blackbird), while making a sound I like I thought I might as well throw everything out except my signature lead sound which I've had forever.
So, here's some symphonic metal with new drums, bass and rhythm guitar tones.
7 string guitar, 5 string bass (actually 4 string but with strings for a 5 string bass on it. I removed the G string).
Thoughts? This will definitely be refined over time but I'm happy to share where I'm at so far.
Main upgrades from old sound:
Punch. Everything is so punchy compared to my previous work.
Low end. More defined low end frequencies and the 7th string on my guitar really resonates well, as does the 5th on the bass.
This short piece is written to showcase each new element 1 at a time, building from drums to bass to rhythm guitar then finally all together.

Sounds great man! nice and clear and everything is placed in a nice range. Dig it! I just recently switched a bunch of stuff up too. Bought some getgood drums. Killer pack. Best $30 I've spent all year. haha.
These are great too! It all sounds very ...yeah, like you said, punchy!
That is pretty sick. Keep up the awesome. :)
