Starts out Ambient, and goes industrial. A revamped version of one of my Ambient Songs.

My thoughts

I liked the ambient opening. The industrial was cut short, as I have read in your responses, by your rush to get something out there, and I respect that.
I strongly suggest some bass tones for the indutrial portion to give it more body, as well as the guitar which you are hoping to integrate.
I do believe the ambience should return in the song, so it'd flow like this: ambience-industrial-guitar (bring everything to a really heavy point)-ambience, guitar, industrial.
In any case, I see a LOT of potential and the beauty in this loop that is barely over a minute. I look forward to hearing the final product :3

Darthfett responds:

I'm glad you took the time to notice that it is indeed a demo. I am still looking for a source for a new guitar, since FL Studios is really all I have at this point, and Slayer is really not a good synthesizer.

I am definitely planning on bringing in more of the ambient industrial part, and am glad that you see potential and beauty! :D I will be working on it, and I hope to get a new version out soon.
Thanks for the review!!

Not bad

I like it, but I have some constructive critisism. I'd say try smoothing out the distortion, maybe throw a compressor on there and also like a few others have said, it's a bit too short. Also some base would do this a lot of good. Other than that the beat is sound. Keep at it ^^

Darthfett responds:

I'll try out the compressor. It wasn't meant to be extremely distortiony, but I still wanted it to be pretty out there. It's going to be Industrial, so I wanted it to be a really strong especially after that intense pitch-scream.

I will work on the bass, thanks for your input! :D

Not enough there

The bulk of it just some droning synths, did pick up a bit at the end but too little too late. And it's too short.

Darthfett responds:

Well it is a Demo, but it probably sounds too little too late because it only loops once, and cuts off. I had to quickly add an ending so I could submit it. I wanted it to morph into a different genre. The rest of the song will be like the heavy guitar part once it's finished.

Thanks for your honesty!

Good MAN! But I would change a few things.

At around 20 seconds...I was hoping to hear a BOM BOM BOM BOM bass beat sound you know...and makes it progressively louder...guitar...doesn't really fit in with this techno tune, but if you can make it work...you just as tallented as the Gorilaz ( and i mean that in a good way! Cause I think the Gorillaz rock!)

It also ends kinda short...crank this CRUNK UP Fo-Shizzle My Nizzle!

This track sounds kinda scary...perfect for Halloween Flashes!

Keep it up man...try my advice.

Darthfett responds:

I guess I should have made the guitar part loop more than once so that you can hear a bit more of it. It's just a demo right now, so It loops well, but I had to quick-add the ending on to submit. Thanks for the compliments and long review!

Uhh

Try to layer slayer a couple of times to beef it up, slightly detune each layer, and then use your dampering and velocity knobs to strengthen the chugs up.

Darthfett responds:

Those are some great ideas. I'll have to try these out :D
