I'd like to write a large complaint about this.
First off, the fool you see below this message sent me an invite to my Gmail, when I specifically told him to send it to my hotmail because Gmail does not support "HTML buttons". I spent 5 minutes of my precious time looking for a link in the source code, and 2 minutes later I'm finally downloading the installer.
Once installed, I took a glance at the sign-in box and window. It's has a plastic/glass feel to it, which will very much suit Microsoft's next Operating System. But it doesn't suit my XP, and besides, the color scheme is just awful. See for yourself.
In MSN 7, you could see your contact's display picture besides their display name. Here, all you could see is a crappy green icon. It's horrible, not very pleasing on the eyes. On another downside, they've renamed MSN Messenger to "Windows Live Messenger". Not a good move.
