Solution
1. Shot Portal 1 right side up and Portal 2 upside-down.
2. Push the stick into Portal one and an upward angle at the bottom.
3. Stick will come out the top, it's bottom, at a downward angle allowing you to do so.

It's not a paradox, you just have to think about it.

Uh yess you can, depending on the angle at which you are when the portal is shot makes all the difference. I shot an upside-down portal on the Black Mesa map pack, I neded to do it to solve the puzzle.

That's strangeIi always thought of the portal as a window,as in no matter which way you place it it will always have the same view,but if what you're saying is true,then a whole lot of other shenangins can be had with portals,yay!
