Hello everyone!
Well, what is my plan? At the moment I am creating a tile based game, based on the famous minesweeper game. Of course I added a lot of new cool things, which now makes it a cool minesweeping strategic game during WWII. And if this isn't enough, it's also going to be multiplayer online!! player_vs_player.
At this moment probably everyone hits the backspace button, but for the die-hards I continue describing my idea.
(Because I don't want to give away my whole idea, its best to contact me after reading this topic, for further detailed information about the concept.)
I already made a lot of the artwork for the game, so this maybe helpful for convincing that I am really serious about this concept. I think its totally new, addicting as *##*%, easy to play and maybe profitable in the future ;)
I am looking for an actionscripter/flash developer who also thinks we can make the best out of this. The developer has to have a few strong Flash abilities;
- Knows how to work with tiles
- Can work with different layers within the tiles
- Knows how to turn an online multiplayer concept into a awesome working game
- Knows how to add a chatfuntion
- Knows how minesweeper works and how to build something like this
- Can make a link between the game and a website
- Knows how to drag objects from the optionbar to the playable tilefield and operate those objects.
At this moment there is a detailed Design-document, but it is in Dutch. So before I try to translate this, I really want to know enthusiastic flash developers a little bit better ;)
The goal of the game is to sweep your opponent's minefield and use tanks to cross their border and capture your own flag. The game is situated during WWII (plays a minor role) and you are able to chat, make strategic choices and create your own optimal minefield.
If you see this game as a challenge, please contact me. We shall then discuss everything.
There is no link to a website yet, but a add a screenshot of the artwork that is done for now.
