ALRIGHT MAGGOTS, LISTEN UP!

I've gone out looking for a stronghold containing an unactivated End Portal with a few spare Eyes I had on me. Attached below is the map where my progress took me before I ran out of mapspace, coincidentally around the same time I lost my last Eye on one of the trees in the forest.

However, what is not coincidence is what I found. Along the way, I saw a sign that said something to the effect of "mineshaft under here", and after traveling some more I found a large hole into a cavern surrounded by torches. This discovery was roughly around the area of the map where I circled, which is where I was before I went out of its range. However it's pretty clear that someone was looking for the stronghold before me and marked these areas for a reason.

We'll need additional Eyes so that we can continue where I left off as designated by the circled region. I may need to make another map so that I can record my route once I pass from this one. I feel we are getting close.

I posted this on the forums of world8-4.ca. the worst server ever. <sarcasm> they make you feel sooooooo welcome</sarcasm>. they even pull pranks on you, like teleporting to you disguised as a griefer who has had several banworthy encounters with you, but hasn't been banned. then the server owner joining in and changing their name to the name of the griefer to scare the shit out of you even more. and the rest of the server pretending they can't see it.

I quite like the idea of a distant, mysterious land, untouched by shitty builders making tiny cobblestone homes and wandering too closely to creepers, destroying the landscape.

For those of you who play on Xports's server, (formerly Squidbit's) I propose that we start a new 1.0 World. The current world has become old and boring. The only time we start a new map is when minecraft updates, and since minecraft is pretty much finished in 1.0 we probably wont see any more updates.

All those that agree with me to start a new map, simply reply with your answer. I know Squidbit and Crink are already on board with me, so hopefully we can get a new world up and going.

I'd be fine with that, for some reason it's actually fun to start over in games like this.

We switched hosts to stop all the stupid fucking crashes.
Good news:
Bukkit works, fucking kick ass plugins. Earlier me and spackle were enderman jousting.
Spackle is an admin now
No more crashes, we flew in opposite directions for a long time and the only problem was lag.
I'm trying to get a hunting plugin to work, so at night we can have contests to see who can kill the most mobs before dawn. With prizes.

Bad news:
10 player limit, but I doubt that's going to be an issue anyway.
May have to start from scratch, but probably not.

I was merely an OP. Now that I'm trying to provide some financial cover for this server I'm granted official admin status. Though I'll probably just be doing things as I've always done (though people will be able to teleport on their own now and won't need me to do it for them) and leave Squiddy and X to work on the finer operational details lol. I might make a nearby farm like I did back in Makeshift's so that newcomers can choose to immediately resolve their food problem.

That sucks, but I've gotten used to it with servers.

I guess there are pros and cons either way. I'll rest in favor of starting over on one condition, we get a FUCKING SNOW BIOME KTHX.
