Was just wondering if there's a way to get Cubase VST to open a Fruity-Loops .FLP file or project.

Im hoping its as simple as a conversion program but I doubt it.

It seems unlikely.

I think that's not possible, but are two completely different DAW , so i doubt that there's a converter for that.

You'd probably have to export as a midi. By changing all of the instruments to midi out. And if there are recorded parts, export them separately. But other than that, i don't think you'd be able to

there is a standard Avid have developed for such interchanging of mediafiles inbetween different programs, it's called OMF, Open Media Framework. cubase supports it, but a quick googlesearch came up negative for FL-support. i'm not 100% though, look it up in the software, that's easier. should probably be listed under some kind of export and/or save option in that case.

you can always export each audio-track, or mix them into stems or something if you want the project mixed and/or mastered in cubase...

Technically you can use the multi-out FL Studio vst plug-in within Cubase and then assign each mixer track to up to 16 stereo outputs of your choice (virtual routing).

That's the easiest way. You may also try requesting that the following software developers considering incorporating FL Studio format in their software:
