Is the coloring is what I'm wondering about the most. Is it too little or just fine?

hmm well its a difficult perspective; I think I'd make the front claw bigger and maybe give him 3 front/1 back claw instead of 4 front.

I decided to create a kind of B-movie monster, complete with silly back story. I thought that I had better just doodle and see what I came up with. I should probably stop watching crappy movies and go outside for once.

If you could get your hands on some drawing inks you could add some colour to it. Possibly using some salt sprinkled on it whilst its still wet to get a textured effect.

It does look quite nice as is but maybe adding a neck or body part to it will improve it (or possibly a few more details). You could also add some light shading around the edges.

It isn't necessarily bad, it is just a little simple. I like the style also, looks very 3D. Try adding some features and edit the size if you're willing to give it another shot.
