HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
If you can't name your own track, then you have no emotional attachment to the song. If you have no emotional attachment to the music you're writing, then you should just stop making music.

This is completely ludicrous.
Look at all these bands that couldn't come up with a name for their song.

Good artists copy. Great artists get banned from the Audio Portal.

^^
@OP: Why would we give you a name for a song when we could use it ourselves? :P

Is it? Think about it: they still gave their song a title, it just happens to be "Untitled". The OP is asking someone *else* to name his songs, without even letting us hear the songs in question, and without attempting to name them himself.
Checkmate.

Yeah... I tend to agree with RampantMusik on this one, naming a song is part of the process and shouldn't be taken lightly.

Oh for fuck's sake - it's a fucking amateur techno track we're talking about here! Yes, asking someone else to name your song is a bit dumb, but it doesn't mean you should stop making music altogether because the emotions weren't put into the track and all that garb.
Two things to remember here:
1. Amateur track.
2. TECHNO track.
3. TECHNO amateur track.
Techno amateur usually means having fun on the computer with sound, not writing emotional music.
why am I getting so worked up about this trivial discussion...?
I lulz at people who place more significance on the emotional impact of a song name as opposed to the song itself.
Who cares what it's called as long as the music itself is memorable and well done... A song title is little more than a label for organizational purposes in the grand scheme of things. And before people argue that song titles give songs context... if your song is done well, people won't need a silly title to feel what you wanted them to.
2 cents.
Also... Call the song "Unce Unce"
Also... cause I want in on this ridiculous competitiveness over such a ridiculously tiny thing...
Checkmate.

A conversation is much more interesting if people can keep their cool and put forward solid arguments rather than just saying everyone else is wrong. But yes, no need to get worked up over it, it's not an argument and a debate is just that, a debate. Either way, whoever gets worked up over a discussion online about something like this is taking things too seriously. ^^
Good luck finding a name for your song.

BULLSHIT UR T3H WRONGZ!!!

I think it's stupid to get too emotional over a song name.
If the song actually has vocals, then it should be easy to come up with a name that fits, but it's a bit different with an instrumental song.
The only thing that I would mind would be a neurofunk song called "Ponies" or some shit like that.
But generally, you can't be wrong with a song name.
I think you should call it "The Sandy Vaginas".

Techno died ten years ago.

Is it really that hard to help the guy out without getting into an irrelevant argument? It's not like he's asking us to solve a molecular science problem or anything. If the guy wants 'us' to name the song for him, that's his choice. No need to tell him he should "stop making music" just because he isn't "emotionally attached to his piece".
Anyway, it's kind of hard to think of a song name without listening to the actual piece itself. If you can't think of something yourself, you could always try either something random or something systematic ("untitled", "track 01" etc.)

Of course, at the end of the day it comes down to your own choice, but personally I take great care in naming my songs.
"Vagrant Soul", "Assassination of the Indiscriminate Mind", "The Wandering Dream", things like that. I simply I can't imagine neglecting the title that way...
Oh well. ^^
A good point to bring up is with classical music, especially in the romantic era.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's compositions:
- Symphony No. 14 in A major
- Symphony No. 15 in G major
- Piano Concerto No. 5 in D major
- Piano Concerto No. 6 in B-flat major
The list goes on (far out, this guy wrote shitloads of music).
Ludwig Van Beethoven's compositions:
Opus 15: Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major
Opus 74: String Quartet No. 10 in E-flat major ("Harp")
Opus 57: Piano Sonata No. 23 in F minor ("Appassionata")
Ok, so this guy has named some of his compositions, but look how many he has not named (this guy wrote heaps too!).
Is anybody going to tell me that Mozart and Beethoven had no emotion put into their music which they did not name, but only label?
Check.
Bloody.
Mate.
I know the argument's kinda over, but I just needed to say "checkmate".
A song title is both important and unimportant in my opinion.
I think that the name of a song is not simply a bunch of words thrown together to make a catchy title. A name can bring about many feelings that accompany the sound of the song itself. It also implies creativity...something that many artists forsake. It can also represent a moment in time or a memory, or it can be used as an organizational tool. However a title can also be just for fun too. So there's no harm in calling a song something foolish. In any case, I would have to agree with others when they say that it's not the title itself...it's the song that matters! :)

thanks to everyone!
Name it... "The rainbow dippy birds have taken all my change, but my thumbs still point skyward" or "After that last rain flamingos invaded my back yard!"
Bling!
:: by the way I can keep them coming...... sadly....
I have great difficulty naming my songs not because I don't have an emotional attachment, but because I do and I have no idea how to articulate it in words because THAT'S WHY I MADE THE SONG.
