Congrats to the winners!
You can view my Round 3 Worksheet as well as the Summer Jam Rankings.
As you can see, @Duongster, @WolveGames and @golfinho are all tied for first place. Things are really heating up!
Our Rejected Mascots animation jam is currently underway, with a deadline of August 22nd. Everyone is welcome to join, even if you haven't participated in the other rounds.
On Monday we'll be announcing the Best of July!
I will now take a moment to plug the Supporter Upgrade. For $2.99 a month or $25 per year you can become a supporter and join our Wall of Honor.
Supporters browse NG ad-free and get perks such as badges, animated forum sigs, the ability to change your username, exclusive emoticons, ability to pick from any previous level icon, extra dumping grounds space and more!
Becoming a support is a huge help to Newgrounds because we ultimately need to depend less and less on ads, while both covering our costs and increasing the amount of money we can pump back into the community.
You have the option to become a supporter for a single month but it is especially beneficial when people become monthly subscribers or commit for the entire year.
In addition to our ongoing projects, we would like to expand Newgrounds to a lot more platforms and work with artists and developers to produce more original content. These things cost considerably more money than we have been able to budget currently.
Newgrounds has the potential to be a sort of Netflix of indie content, on all platforms. If that sounds exciting to you, become a Supporter today and join us on the journey! These things take time but I think we've proven NG is committed - we've been holding down this fort for 21 years now and plan to be around for 21 more. What NG looks like in 21 years will entirely be determined by how many people become supporters in the days, weeks and years to come. Join up!
