Back in the day, during the 2000s I played a lot of flash games, mostly horror ones, I was really into scary games, ones like the Visitor, Exmortis, The Ugly, etc, etc, but I can't remember the names of a lot of them. Anyone remember the names of good flash horror games from the 2000s?

Damn Exmortis was the shit. I remember playing the first one when it came out, and the moment you see that shadow figure in the hallway with the backwards speech I think it was, I den got scurred.

Fuck yeah, I remember when I first played it. I was 23, and that game genuinely freaked me out, it's still one of my all time favorites.

Now this is a classic, I used to play this a lot back in the day too, thanks for reminding me of this.

Has anyone played a game on here, where there's some kind of tour thing and these people get stuck in some cave, and there's this monster, and I think it was a 2 or 3 part series but I only played the first one. I vaguely remember it.

Not sure if I'd classify this as a "horror" game, but I thought it was pretty well done for the time:

Does anyone know about Hotel 626? It may be the scariest web game I've ever played, I haven't played it in years, I've heard that it can't be found online anymore. If that's true, then that's a damn shame. Does anyone else know about it though?

Exmortis was good, I never finished the third one because they wanted you to pay for it and I was a kid with no money.

Newgrounds/The World needs more games like these. They're the perfect atmosphere setter around Halloween time.

Oh man, those were the days when people weren't into pretentious indy bullshit, now the "horror" we have is a fuck wit in a tie trying to save a princess and some self important bitch with a stick in her ass that made a house haunted because she was a lesbian.

Fuck this generation.

There was also those parody scary flash games too, since I was young I found them scary and funny, it really gave me a interesting experience you never see those two side by side, scary movie doesn't count since it's mixed, but I mean legit horror then legit humor, I'd love to see those point and click horror games again, that would be so nice.

It makes me really nostalgic thinking about it
