Scouting?

I know what scouting is but I do not know what it does. Like, if I were scouted what would it do for me?

Seemingly what scouting would do for you is the chance to get frontpage, awards, etc, with your art and other submisssions.

'Scouting' is actually monitoring. Being scouted means you are put under surveillance.
