I don't blame him for not wanting to come here, but I'm glad he is ok assuming what you say is true.

What happened may bring bad memories for him, but you got to admit it was pretty funny to us. If he really is reformed though, then no hard feelings I guess.

Tell him that most people would prefer to hear from him directly instead of through a liaison, including me. He needs to do some kind of AMA at one point, or write a book, now or later. I understand that years and even decades can pass before you're comfortable spilling everything out, especially if you went through what he did.

I'm a forgiving person, and knew him more for his taste in music (similar to mine) before he got himself into this mess. In no way should he be obliged to come back here on a regular basis--the damage is already done. He took the whole idea of being a stupid 16-year-old way too far. I don't think he needs to be reminded of that though.

My former co-worker/one of my current subtenants is about to leave to go to Australia soon, but I won't be joining her, nor do I know if I'll be near where he lives. There's just far too much work that needs to be done at home and I only have 3 vacation days left. I could run them consecutive to the Christmas holiday weekend but it's up to my boss to approve that.

No it's not. It's nothing really interesting. I can't imagine why anyone would find it interesting besides him.

I also was investigated by police for making threats to shoot up or blow up my high school when I was 16. I had my house searched. I did not put that online or have a specific date, and no guns were found. I wasn't charged with any crimes because of the way I talked during the interview. What this guy in Britain said was not much more extreme, and a lot of kids make threats all the time to schools and public places. It just seemed he was just about to do it, if he really was going to. This is really nothing worthy of one's attention.

Assuming OP is not the man himself. Regardless I hope it's true that he is well. I remember him from back in the days in the NGPD. He was a good lad, and it was difficult to believe everything that had happened when I first heard the news. I wish him all the best, even if he has no intention of rejoining the NG community. Though I can't blame him for that either, none of the oldies here would ever live it down.

An AMA is just that: to ask him anything. Of course, he can reasonably expect many questions pertaining to what made him snap, and should be prepared to answer them. I personally, if I were to talk to him now, would not even touch upon the day that changed his life.

He decided through a third party to speak out here now and that's even less helpful. If he's going to speak, he needs to do it himself, period, unless incarceration, parole or probation terms prevents him from doing so, in which case, all that needs to be clarified.

Someone hacked a majority of forum regulars and gave them furry avatars, a bunch of terrible users caused drama (mysticvortex, wriggle, insanctuary, fieldertiger, ze13, beakerboy, etc), people became resigned to the fact that wegra is here to stay and accept him now, a bunch of govnas from across the pond kept making threads pretending soccer is actually a fun sport to watch, some dorks made a game called funky nut bustin or whatever, madness was released on steam, and now here we are. boom
