You don't need to actually have a PayPal account to pay with their service though, there should be an option to just pay directly with your card. No account required. Bit more information about that on the payment page.

You could've ignored it, could've said "Happy Holidays" or whatever winter solstice activity you follow. You could've said "Good for you lot, I hate Christmas you know." It's not in good taste to waylay the importance of Christianity's most holy day, by reminding the readers of this news post that we don't all follow the same religion.
