The winners of the Art Inspired Music contest have been announced, congrats @Troisnyx on the first place win!

This past month we hosted a My Friend Pedro art contest to celebrate My Friend Pedro being released on Steam and Switch. MFP creator @DeadToast has now viewed all the entries and selected his ten favorites! He included six runner-ups and all 16 winners will receive Steam keys for MFP.

We’ve also selected the winners for our Wick Editor Game Jam! Wick Editor is a really promising open-source tool that lets you make games and animation for free in a web browser. The participants in this jam were working around an evolving product and helped troubleshoot along the way; we're greatly appreciative of everyone who gave this a shot and helped push Wick forward.

I had never given much thought to what the word Theropods meant but then I read A Brief History of Nearly Everything per @BoMToons’ suggestion in this blog post and now I know.

@AdventureIslands has released an extended version of Total Party Kill on Steam, iOS and Android.

Blender 2.80 is available for download as a release candidate! This version is a big redesign of the user interface and response so far looks really positive. Blender is free and can be used for both 3D and 2D animation. It was used to make Office Fighter!

Congrats to all the winners! That's some really good artwork there, very nice peices!

The Wick Editor I think has a lot of potential going forward, and I might keep trying to use it, to get used to it. Since the interface is so similar to Flash, it makes is a pretty simple jump. Just takes some getting used to, and I'd really love to see it continue to develop futher. If they ever had a premium version, or desktop application, I'd be willing to put some money into that.

Been listening to a lot of podcasts. I've enjoyed a lot of the recent Planet Money episodes, including a kinda discouraging one about recycling. There's also a podcast called Nice Try! Utopia that talks about attempts at utopian communities that have inevitably failed.
