Hey everyone, I'm a bit new to Newgrounds and have finally got around to posting some things. I wanted to make an art thread to show some work and get some feedback. I understand that I'm lacking in places but would love some other perspectives.
Here's something I made as well as a lineart only version.
These are some rough sketches I still had of this. I feel as though this sketch looks better than the actual finished one.
Found a drawing I did in 2020 for a friend's tabletop RPG and decided to give it another go.

Quite nice, but I would suggest that when doing a piece like this you might want to exaggerate the pose even more.

Thanks! Yea exaggeration on poses is something I definitely struggle with.
Just uploaded my characters from Apoidea and I thought I'd show the sketches before their current design
Back in my DeviantArt days, when I would post, I ended up joining a pokemon related group. Loved pokemon when I was younger and was a big fan of a bunch of Nuzlocke comics, so it was nice to hang around. At some point they started doing an art challenge every so often where people could sign on, based on the regions; a Kanto Challenge, then a Johto one, etc. And for the Hoenn Challenge I got one of my favorite pokemon Sceptile. I did a redraw of it recently because I needed something of a pick-me-up. I struggle a lot with backgrounds and perspective, so I did things differently and it came out better than I expected but Im still unsure if its 'right'.
