Drew up this comic page forever ago, don't think I'll ever continue it though.
Eh, I think comics have their place in the art portal. I think I also saw a couple threads about comics.

I drew this for Mother’s Day recently
long story short, finished my finals for both my storyboarding & illust. classes & just wanted to make something stupid

while I still have a lot of tweaks to make, that's a huge improvement over what it used to look like
Heyy its good to know you've improved cause most artists find it difficult

Something that I sketched in my notebook a couple of times, very new to digital thing and im on mobile but I'll work on getting the hang of it.(my inspiration for this character came from two vague memories of two Alien characters from the original Ben 10, Upgrade and GhostFreak. Also the mouth on his shoulder was inspired by that one enemy in Oddworld Abe's exoddus named "The Greeter".

Drew this recently and i feel like i'm finally improving with my BGs and stuff, even if it's a little simple
Someone asked me recently if I can draw anime styles and I kinda didn't have an answer for them. I still don't have an answer, but now folks can judge for themselves.

I love Nausicaa as a series, but I wasn't a fan of the movie, actually! It condensed and cut most of a 4-volume epic manga down to about the 1st half of the first book, then about 10 pages of the fourth. If you wanna see Miyazaki at his absolute darkest, doing the type of stuff they wouldn't even let him do for Princess Mononoke, I'd highly recommend it.

I've planning to go on a binge and watch all the Miyazaki/Ghibli films. I haven't even seen Mononoke since the Cartoon Network Toonami days and still remember how brutal that movie was. The only one besides Ponyo I've rewatched recently is Spirited Away. Music got me teary-eyed.
I think was clear enough but I'm just gonna reiterate: the Nausicaa manga series is where it's at; you can skip the movie. Black and white pen and ink is the kind of dark and dirty thing the story needs, and since it isn't limited by runtime constraints, it's the most fleshed-out world Miyazaki ever made, full stop.
You'll also see a ton of stuff that you'll recognize as the inspiration for other popular media that came later. The God Warrior's parallels to Eva units is one that's extra hard to ignore, there's a lot of religious concepts and monsters that show up in Dark Souls, etc.
I really don't draw that often anymore, but I managed to draw this not so long ago. I need to get back into creating art
First drawing for one of my new OCs: The Wels Shallow. I plan on coloring it soon, and using it for my new website.
Somewhat Modest; Not the Smartest; One of the Oddest
