Funny, I actually had a challenge like that elsewhere.

Looks great!!!
Damn you people had one hell of an art glowup, congrats!
I actually have one already prepared, the first is from May 2020 (only a few days after I actively started drawing/got my drawing tablet) and is absolutely horrid to look at, the second is from February 2021, and the last one is from this month.

2020 digital redraw:
2021 (was debating whether to show most recent in digital or paper, but decided on paper since the first one is (you can see my digital ones on my profile anyway)):

Your art is so good! I love all of these!

I wouldn't say you're getting worse. I would say you're probably still at a phase where you're trying to find an art style that suits you. That phase is a real mess because every artist has a different experience with it: for some it takes only a year to find and work on a style, for others it can take much longer because they want to experiment a lot, are too hard on themselves, or have yet to find something they really like.
I don't have a lot of advice, considering I'm not a professional on the subject, but I would say, keep going at it, draw what you want to draw, don't forget that you can get inspired by the artists you like and that references are a gift from the gods, and eventually you'll find what you really like drawing! And from there, you'll start noticing improvements.
Well okay, let's see...
Late Feb 2020, I think this was somewhere around where I first made her (the character). This was supposed to symbolize the many ways she's been hurt.
No, it's not vent art. And yes, quite literally, the many ways she's been hurt. Stabbed by spears, stabbed by a sword multiples times, a scar to the eye, and cut in half.
...then fast forward to somewhere around Early 2021, bam.
This was supposed to act like 'tribute' to her in a sense. Pretty sure this was when I begun to get the gist of shading, lighting, all that.
Yes, there are pictures of her not suffering, and no, it isn't vent art again.

I love both styles, lol
But in all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with wanting to try an old style again, especially if you've improved as an artist since, maybe even mix the aspects you liked about your old style with what you like about your current style (like old sharpness of line + current coloring), it's all about experimenting!
Also the little arthropods I love them so much

It's certainly more glowy! One could say the glow... is up. Your new art definitely attracts more moths is what I'm saying.

So back in middle school people would edit pixelart into something else.
Now I don't have to edit anything and just make cool things.
