That is what I thought.
Personal pet peeve with Scratch games cause they don’t work on Firefox. But if that’s what works best for you then go for it
uhh well you can rip assets from flash games say pico on scratch
Possibly, Depending on what project it actually is.
Say that it's just a piece of art that you want to share, in that case, you should take a screenshot of it and send it to the art portal.
Say that it's a movie, keep it on scratch until someone finds a way to port scratch animations
Audio, just download the music and post it.
And for Games, you can post it on Newgrounds as long as you test it and it passes through the portal.
Keep in mind that YOU should be the person who made the project, as stealing is against the terms of use.
It depends on personal preference. I've experienced Scratch myself back in 2017 and it can prove to make some good stuff if you know what you're doing. Though Scratch has a bad rep due to it's appeal to younger children and thus these younger children provide very low effort content on the internet.
I think that scratch is only to be used in regards to games here in Newgrounds, art, movies and music are a different story.
I've even seen a Henry Stickmin fangame made in Scratch be frontpaged here, so it's not like there's no success.
But honestly, there are certainly better alternatives like Gamemaker, Godot and Construct that Newgrounds is more used to.

who still uses firefox. I dropped firefox when it disabled all my extensions like years ago.
If the game is good, unlike most scratch games.

Y'know I made a bunch of Scratch games and they survived. Hell I'm looking for a beta tester right now for an upcoming game and I can't find one.
Ok, Scratcher here. All my NewGrounds Games are made in Scratch. So, uh, yeah. You can convert to .zip here, good luck on making games!

YES, as long as the game is at least somewhat decent
I saw some quality games made on Scratch, I believe its a good choice.
I don't know if it's good to mention but Five Nights at Freddy's game engine is very close to Scratch with no code and it's simple to understand.
From what I’ve seen, don’t Scratch games on NG still include that border around them with the green flag and stop sign icons? They’re basically mandatory to control a Scratch game, I think, but you might not want those for aesthetic reasons. I personally think they mess up the look of the game, but I may be biased.
More alternatives: Another Scratch-like system for games is Stencyl (though I don’t know how well the export works for those now that Flash is down). It’s what I picked up after leaving Scratch to join NG, with the intent to create games on here. There’s also another, more complex block-based system that uses a similar look to Scratch, I think also owned by a university, called Snap. I have no idea how that one works, though.
Someone please help me revive my clubs
