I guess its good that Newgrounds finally gets credited for things in 2021.

Back in the day 4chan used to take credit for everything even if a joke originated elsewhere.

For example: In 2009, on Newgrounds everyone started saying "I'm jellyous" or "u jellyous?" instead of saying "I'm jealous" etc. In 2021, people still say "I'm jelly" or "u jelly?" a derivitave of the original meme/joke and there is even a pop song that used the phrase "peanut-butter jealous."

4chan took all the credit.

Now that nobody gives a fuck about 4chan anymore, Newgrounds gets the praise it deserves for coming up with new things.

Its kind of nice actually.
