Did you even play it? It's definitely based on old school persistent browser based games but its far more modernized.
Once you sign up or login with Facebook you'll be able to select a character. Each character specializes in certain stats which you can train over time as you level up. Once you've trained, leveled up and fully equipped your character with weapons/armor you can compete with other players on the leaderboards.
