The main issue is that the song was made using 'BeepBox' (what I use for most of my modern songs) and didn't sample anything (its not possible to sample songs on BeepBox).

So back in March, I was banned from posting audio because of a track I attempted to publish. P-Bot detected that the track sounded like "Flutch" by this artist named ChaiN. This song sounds nothing like the track I wanted to publish. To top it all off, I didn't even publish the track before P-Bot detected that it was "infringing" on copyright guidelines. So if you're able to, can you please lift my audio ban?

Got banned from audio for posting a random song i made. no loops were used. it was copyright for some reason, by a person named "Kabo Sasamoto?" idk who that is LMAO

So, my account was flagged for "copyright" and now I cannot upload audio anymore. The audio I posted was flagged by someone named "Kabo Sasamoto," who's song is "Jupiter 9:55." First of all, I do not even know who this person is or what this song sounds like. Second of all, my song was totally original! So yesterday I finished my song Casino. It took me around 12 hours to complete on FL Studio. When I went to post it though I was met with a message saying that I may have infringed upon a song by the name of “Rain (Soul Tan Remix)” By Astrid.

I think I might’ve been a little general in my appeal lol. This is my first time appealing so I closed it not knowing I couldn’t reopen it lmao. When I listened to these two songs I couldn’t pinpoint many sounds that are alike. I was hoping I could maybe get this looked into a bit further, no biggie.

Hello! I'm new to posting to Newgrounds so there's a pretty fair chance that I did something wrong on my end or am simply missing something, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I made a remix of Expurgation from the Tricky mod for Friday Night Funkin', something there are several of on the site. The song got claimed by P-Bot as a reupload of Saster's remix of the same song, which it isn't. I submitted my appeal, and upon checking on the appeal two days later, it had been closed and I am still banned from uploading audio.

It's been about four or five days since the claim, and I've been doing some of my own research as to what this all means, but not to any avail. So, my last resort is to post here!

Yes, it was a song not made by me. I had remixed it and created a new version. I do hope that it wasn't the remixed version, and that I actually uploaded the original lol.

I’m trying to upload my album The OG Collection, but it flagged the first song because the system didn’t know I’m the composer. I filed an appeal but closed the case (I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to, I’m new to the grounds). I want to make sure it won’t flag the other 8 songs but I don’t know how. Please help.

Note: I made the music using LMMS starting February and finishing in late March. I distributed the album to streaming services last month under the name BLOCKY Bearclaw.

Hello, I am a composer and on 02/10/2021 I was banned (on your site) for Music Copyright. For fairness I went to listen to the songs that I would have "violated" and the songs do not match each other, this is because the melodies of my songs and those protected by copyright have almost totally different musical notes. In addition, the songs from the beginning to the end, if they are listened to, the total non-similarity is noted.

So last year, I got banned from uploading music because a moderator discovered that one of the songs I wanted to upload contained possible infringement to an existing song, which is "Mirror Mirror (Remix)" by DJ Randy. I used GarageBand to compose my song, but I had no idea it bore any similarities to "Mirror Mirror" until I looked it up. I listened to the instrumental version of the song, and I think I know why my song was flagged. It's probably because both my song and "Mirror Mirror" used the same looping guitar track. However, I really don't think I plagiarized Mirror Mirror, though. It's more like a coincidence, if you ask me. I did not sample DJ Randy's track, as I made the song completely on my own in GarageBand. Just because the song has the same looping guitar track doesn't mean I copied DJ Randy's song.

Anyway, I had until a few days to appeal against my so-called "infringement". I filled out the ownership details, but I didn't know what to do next. I just couldn't wait for a few days to pass, so I closed the case and hoped they would respond. But they haven't unbanned me in months. I tried to contact Tom Fulp about it through email, but I guess he's extremely busy, because he didn't respond to my request to be unbanned even once.

Do you think you can look into my account and see if you can get me unbanned? I would be glad if you did. Thanks.

My song Chase The Sunset was flagged by a song called "For Janice" by Fever when I clicked on the link for the song that it gave me (Here is the URL) it seemed vague at best. I tried to search the song elsewhere and found out this on Spotify. While for some reason can't listen to the song, I see it was made (or uploaded) in 2020, and my song was created in 2016. I wish I could view the track in question so I can see some concrete evidence that I have plagiarized this song. But with the weird link and the fact that my song was possibly made 4 years before, I think the possible infringement does not hold water.
