You always seem to pick the best theme for me lol. I was just thinking about doing a retro styled song. This time I'm going to try to put a little more time and effort into it. I realized that I don't want to just make songs that are simple and quick to make just for the heck of it like I've been doing, but rather songs that seem meaningful and well though out. Expect to see a much better submission from me this time even though I've been struggling with inspiration recently. I thinking I'm going to enjoy this one :)

Oh yeah of course. I'm not going to be doing synthwave. It must be around the area of the 80s and 90s and early 2000s. Of course, this is very loose. It's honestly up to the interpretation of the topic. If you feel that it fits the topic, then go ahead. I just themed everything all synthwavy because that's the first thing that comes to mind when I think retro.

my lawyers have advised me not to answer that
when you say no textbook sketches does that not mean we are not allowed to draw on paper in general here? cause im thinking of participating but my main source of drawing comes from paper.

Hello there! As I said, I will not be allowing any textbook sketches into the competition unless approved by me. I've looked over your work and I approve. You may submit a textbook sketch for the event. Enjoy the event!

Oh, that's a cool challenge. It's a shame you stopped. You should bring it back up again. If I could draw I would totally participate.

Just letting everyone know that the submission period ends tomorrow. If you are still working on something, make sure to finish it by the end of tomorrow! Also, the showcase will happen on the first of September. There will not be one for Audio since there are no audio submissions. In future MTACs I will likely just merge music and art together just so musicians get to join in as well but I don't clog up the audio forums :)
