Day 2

I am regaining control over my left hand. Without so much as a fap to unleash. I have taken up carpentry to pass the time.

The regal form of the wood rolls smoothly in my hands. The firmness of it holds true to my grip. As I rub in the finish of the wood it glistens in the light. I am not lost on what I have given up but with 28 more days to go. I trust that I will not give in.

Anyway here is my journey into this whole thing, from here on out, my thoughts about it and the month ahead will be in Italics.

No Fab or NNN;

Day #1, November 1st, 2022

In the morning, I forgot to pick up a friend from work. Dang I was so tired and felt guilty about not doing it (I was suppose to pick him up at 7 AM).

I spent the rest of my morning, cleaning the house (doing the laundry, preparing the cinnamon-clove tea, making a shopping list). I was playing this game (the link is down below), it's a bit complicated to play, but once you get the instructions, you will know on what to do.

Anyway later in the noon, I went shopping to buy some food, I didn't see anything of interest over there.

I went home, did some cleaning and browsing the forums. After 2 hours, we went for a walk at the Provincial Park, it took us and hour, to walk around the simple loop. 

After that I rested for a bit, I rested for an hour because I was tired.

We had some supper and then I finished it, I browsed the forums for most of the time... 

~ Well that was Day 1 of NNN

I'm hoping that I make some changes along the way... See you tomorrow.

Unfortunately, only two days into this damn thing, the temptation of pornography had taken me. Not only have I failed the challenge, I feel as though I failed myself. I thought for once I'd be able to do this shit, but alas, it was nothing but hype. I will continue as though as I hadn't failed, I see no reason not to,. For the entire point of NNN is the shedding of our primal urges so we may better ourselves, but count me out of the official roster for having completed the challenge.

The temptations came when you were getting bored didn't it? At least you're not a quitter & i can admire that. This is exactly why we do this, it's not about (no) nutting, it's about your brain on porn, i don't think anyone can do this challenge right the first time it goes with steps, & you improve everytime. When having a hard time always remember why you do this.

The starting point is always the hardest, it get's better. To be fair i had a struggle 2 days ago and on the next day i was totally fine. It's always temporary.

I wish it was just damned boredom, it'd make it a whole lot easier, I got tons of things I could be doing. It feels more like this fire in my loins that the coldest rains can't extinguish and it drives me nuts. I've always known that as long as I don't look at porn I can make it through, that I can just sleep it off with enough patience, but the ooga booga side of my brain can't kick that idea into gear hard enough.

The time I've spent on porn since I was a kid could've been spent on better things.

ah, I think I see what you mean then; essentially men who aren't sexually or romantically active not because they're not interested or not trying but rather because they fall below most womens standards in some way or another. or in other words basically just lonely guys before the term "incel" polluted public perception.

tbh yeah, I think I'd agree. I feel like you see more desperate men with lower standards for relationships than women today, although I'm not too concerned about the sexual element; I'm a pretty strong advocate for sexual reservation and less promiscuity, so if men today aren't getting as many quick fuck-n-chuck buddies than before then fine by me. but the romantic aspect does make me sad.

there's alot of men today in desperate need of a loving and caring partner but unable to achieve the average women's standards (whether or not that's the fault of women's unrealistic standards or men's lack of hard work to better themselves is a tough debate which I think both sides could have their own merit).

I'd rather die (even if I don't have any dignity left). Also it's nice to see you here.
