I'm not sure why this calls for a commission when it's something you already want to draw, but I wouldn't want that no. I think he's got problems and I don't like what he's done, but I think that's unnecessary.

Ahh ok I see where the confusion lies. A commission is someone asking you to draw something by paying you money, a request is just someone asking you to draw something. So I thought you wanted me to pay you money to draw your own idea.

Look, I'm gonna be real with you. I genuinely don't know why you need approval to draw this thing, especially if you're a grown woman like me. But I do mean it: If you want to draw it that bad, I don't know what's stopping you and you should draw it regardless. Take some control! If it's something you care about, then why do you need someone to tell you to make it?
Also I say this because honestly, I don't know if you're gonna get what you want because it's a very iffy subject. Don't be afraid to just go for it and draw it.
