Revolutionary concepts please.. I'd love to hear what you guys out there can come up with. We need to step up the game a bit because nowdays inventors only focus on conveniences, not worthy original content. Things that haven't been made before.

I'll see what I can come up with later on but just too fkin lazy right now to come up with ideas. Go go go

And btw sux that the general forums was shut down.. and not so many poasters here, could use more people. At least this po(a)st will fill the blank a bit, sheezeee. :p

There's not too many ideas that aren't original or haven't already been thought of before. Fact of the matter is that it all boils down to execution which is much, much harder. And convenience is a big driver of programming, for example if you're creating something to automate or simplify another process (unless I misunderstand what you mean by convenience).

Here's a non-original idea to get started: a VR programming IDE, like VS Code or something; users can be surrounded by windows, such as a file from one repo on the left, another on the right, a terminal on the top and bottom, etc...there's something like this that has been halfway implemented but it's only for Python and to be honest, a lot of development involves reinventing the wheel (like environments, navigation, hand tracking, etc.). It would be far better to hitch a ride on existing environments like Bigscreen or Virtual Desktop instead.

How you implement an idea is more important than what the idea is.

surrounded by windows?

You're wearing a VR headset, and you see a virtual monitor to your left, to your right, in front of you, behind you, etc...

hitch a ride?

Build on top of. Think mods or addons, not standalone programs.

Okay I never could've guessed... guess it was too metaphorical for me to understand :p

On another note, I still don't get it... :/
