I love this track because musically I get back to my roots in a way and it was a ton of fun to make and sounds awesome. Even if the vocal work could've been better (there's a point where I changed my head position in the second to last verse and you can hear it, etc) it's one of my favourites to say I made.
It's my first and only song.
I may make more music later.

Your description perfectly describes this. Its a feeling of excitement and joy, but also an aftertaste of sadness for the things and people you have to leave behind in order to explore new things and meet new people. I love this.

As for me, this one ended up being so good to me that I just quit music for awhile as I couldn't really come up with anything interesting enough in my perspective. (The mix sucks, but whatever... I learned)

The melody, the retro/synthwave-like beat i did for my very first time, the kicks - i'm really proud of how it turned out.

Favourite for now (always plenty of time to do even better!)
There's still things I could really do with fixing in the piece in terms of timing and sorting out Timpani properly with some recent upgrades (I'll get around to it soon), but in terms of getting a full battle-orch piece done on a time limit through my template and getting heaps of positive responses on multiple platforms, it's definitely one of my best in terms of the time:results ratio.

I'm very proud of it. It is the longest song i've made and it also sounds better (in my opinion) that most of my other music. I made it in one sit, it took around 9 hours.

Still a lot of jankiness and feels a bit disjointed but it's a best of in terms of composition, guitar play and mixing I've done imho.

Im pretty proud of most of my tracks for one reason or another, but this is my most recent one that I think is a bit different then my other stuff while keeping the general genre distinction.
