It's not called a programming language for no reason. Just like with regular languages, you aren't going to learn everything immediately, nor are you going to learn in a straightforward manner all the time either. I forgot Python like twice over until I finally started using it for bigger projects instead of simple one-off scripts.
On a similar note, I probably learnt what REST* and SOAP** stood for before I actually knew how to work with them. I probably forgot what TLBs*** were multiple times over in uni before I finally committed them to memory, and even then I tend to forget until the odd instance when I encounter them in the wild. Forgetfulness and distractions are common.

Thank you i needed that I thought something was wrong with me when I was having hard time learning in a not straightforward manner and I forget the concepts a lot. Thx for your help :D I'll keep that in mind

I went to community college for multimedia. What I learned was never buy any school software because it is expensive, and not practical. Then do all your work during class time and take copious notes so you can pretend like you know what you are doing but it doesn't matter because the school software sucks.
Then build games in Stencyl (which takes no programming) and get frontpaged.
